    Research on "Waiting-for-rescue Technology" for Trapped Firefighters

    SHENG Chao;CHEN Wei;
    Firefighting is complex and dangerous, with unexpected risks such as unpredictable explosions and building collapses. This paper first puts forward the concept of "waiting-for-rescue technology" based on studies related to "waiting for rescue" at home and abroad, and analyzes three typical cases of casualties deeply. After conducting the gas consumption experiment of self-contained breathing apparatus, the author proposes that when firefighters are trapped in collapsed buildings or dense smoke and cannot evacuate the area successfully for the first time, they can use scientific and reasonable "wait-for-rescue technology" to increase the probability of self-rescue and being rescued.
