    Study on mechanical properties, dry friction and wear properties of ZL104 aluminum alloy and ZL111 aluminum alloy under different temperature

    The optical microscope, thermal conductivity meter, electronic tensile tester and reciprocating ball block friction and wear tester machine were used to analyze the microstructure, thermal conductivity, mechanical properties, dry friction and wear properties of ZL104 aluminum alloy and ZL111 aluminum alloy. The results showed that the mechanical properties of ZL111 aluminum alloy, especially at high temperature, were significantly better than those of ZL104 aluminum alloy. The thermal diffusivity both of ZL104 aluminum alloy and ZL111 aluminum alloy all decreased with the increase of temperature. ZL111 aluminum alloy wore less than ZL104 aluminum alloy at low frequencies. ZL111 aluminum alloy wore more when the frequency was greater than 4 Hz, while ZL104 aluminum alloy wore more when the frequency was greater than 8 Hz.
