    Study of Removal of Arsenic from Phosphoric Acid by Sodium Sulfide

    With the stricter regulation and control of heavy metal content in fertilizers, the phosphoric acid prepared by the wet-process phosphoric acid process can no longer meet the requirements of ecological-grade fertilizer production. Therefore, the experimental study is carried out of process conditions of removing arsenic from wet-process phosphoric acid by using sodium sulfide as an arsenic removal agent. The experimental results show that the removal rate of arsenic in phosphoric acid can reach over 95% under the condition that the amount of sodium sulfide added is 0.13% of the mass of phosphoric acid, the reaction time is 45 min, and the aging time is 3 h.
